The CleanShield HEPA 550 filters airborne particles during a cleanup or renovation. It is an air scrubber, with a pre-filter, HEPA filter, and activated carbon in a portable housing. It does not remove moisture from a room; use a dehumidifier for that job.

Is this the right model?

Choose the CleanShield when the task is airborne dust or particles. For a damp basement or crawl space, look at the Sentinel dehumidifiers for humidity control. The two types of equipment can serve different parts of the same cleanup.
