AllerAir recommends placing the unit near the source of contaminants and keeping it running continuously on the lowest setting when ongoing filtration is needed.
For painting projects, AllerAir recommends unplugging the unit and removing the HEPA filter until the paint job is complete, because paint particles may clog the HEPA filter.
