Austin Air Allergy Machine Replacement Filter
Genuine Austin Air Allergy Machine replacement filter featuring HEGA (High Efficiency Gas Absorption) carbon-cloth technology paired with medical-grade HEPA. Designed for allergy and asthma sufferers, it captures fine particles and allergens while the activated carbon cloth absorbs gaseous irritants and odors.
- Fits: Austin Air Allergy Machine units (HM405 / B405).
- When to replace: rated for up to 5 years of normal residential use; refresh the pre-filter every ~6 months to protect it.
- Choose your color: White (White/Sandstone units) or Black (Black/Midnight Blue units).
A note on buying ahead: the HEGA carbon cloth slowly adsorbs odors and chemicals from the air around it even while sealed in storage. Order your replacement when you're ready to install it rather than keeping a spare on the shelf for years — carbon that has sat a long time won't have its full capacity left. Pre-filters aren't affected and are fine to keep on hand.
