Airpura T600 DLX Air Purifier for Tobacco & Wildfire Smoke

The Airpura T600 DLX is a high-capacity air purifier designed to reduce tobacco smoke, wildfire smoke, cannabis smoke odors, airborne chemicals, and persistent indoor odors.

It combines a 26 lb activated carbon filter with dedicated tar and particle filtration to target both the smell and microscopic pollutants found in smoke-heavy environments.

Built for spaces up to 2,000 sq ft, it performs especially well in homes, apartments, and shared buildings where smoke—whether from cigarettes, cannabis use, or wildfire events—regularly infiltrates indoor air.

Why You’ll Love the Airpura T600 DLX

Noticeably less smoke odor indoors
A 26 lb enhanced activated carbon filter adsorbs tobacco smoke, cannabis odors, and wildfire smoke gases that tend to linger in enclosed spaces.

Better control of fine smoke particles
A HEPA barrier filter captures particles down to 1 micron, helping reduce airborne smoke particles from cigarettes, wildfires, dust, and other fine debris.

Designed for heavy smoke environments
A dedicated Tar-Barrier prefilter captures sticky tar and combustion byproducts commonly found in tobacco smoke and wildfire smoke before they reach the main filter.

Fast air cleaning during active smoke events
560 CFM airflow moves a large volume of air, helping cycle and filter indoor air more frequently when smoke levels spike during wildfire events or ongoing indoor smoking.

Covers large living areas and open spaces
Rated for up to 2,000 sq ft, making it suitable for open living areas, apartments, and homes impacted by outdoor smoke infiltration.

Quiet enough for continuous operation
34.2 dB on low is similar to a quiet room at night, while 57.2 dB on high is comparable to normal conversation — allowing you to run it continuously during smoke events.

Is the Airpura T600 DLX Right for You?

Ideal for:
✔ Homes with indoor smoking or heavy secondhand smoke exposure
✔ Households dealing with wildfire smoke entering the home
✔ Apartments or condos with shared air and smoke infiltration issues
✔ Individuals sensitive to chemical fumes, VOCs, or strong odors

Works best in:
✔ Living rooms and open floor plans
✔ Homes in wildfire-prone regions
✔ Spaces where both odor control and particle filtration are needed

What the Airpura T600 DLX Helps Remove

  • Tobacco, cannabis, and wildfire smoke particles — captured by HEPA filtration
  • Smoke odors — including marijuana smell, weed odor, and combustion-related odors, absorbed by the carbon bed
  • Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) — from smoke, cleaning products, and building materials
  • Airborne chemicals — including combustion byproducts
  • Tar particles — filtered through the dedicated Tar-Barrier system
  • Dust and larger airborne particles

Activated carbon adsorbs gases and odors, while HEPA filtration captures airborne particles — addressing both the visible and invisible components of smoke pollution.

Key Features & Design Details

26 lb enhanced carbon filter
A deep 3-inch carbon bed with 570 sq in surface area increases contact time, helping reduce heavy smoke odors and airborne chemicals more effectively.

Tar-Barrier prefilter system
Captures sticky tar and combustion particles from tobacco and wildfire smoke before they reach the main filter.

All-metal housing
Powder-coated steel construction prevents plastic off-gassing and supports long-term durability.

Sealed filter chamber
Pressure-sealed design helps prevent unfiltered air from bypassing the filtration system.

Motor isolated from airflow
Reduces the risk of contaminants re-entering the clean air stream after filtration.

360° air distribution
Draws in polluted air from all sides and distributes filtered air evenly throughout the room.

Carbon Filter Options for the Airpura T600 DLX

Standard Carbon Filter

  • 26 lbs enhanced activated carbon (17% potassium iodide / 83% coconut shell)
  • 3” deep carbon bed (570 sq in surface area)

Designed for tobacco smoke, wildfire smoke, VOCs, and combustion-related chemicals, including tar-related gases and persistent indoor odors.

Well-suited for smoke-heavy environments, apartments with infiltration, and homes affected by wildfire events.

Super Gas 600 Carbon Filter (Optional Upgrade)

  • Higher-grade, application-specific carbon blends
  • Designed for increased adsorption of specific chemicals and gases

A better fit for unusual or high concentrations of airborne chemicals, or situations requiring targeted chemical filtration beyond standard smoke and odor control.

Maintenance & Ownership

Heavy smoke environments require more frequent filter attention, especially during wildfire seasons or ongoing indoor smoking.

  • Carbon filter: Replace as needed in heavy smoke conditions, or about every 24 months under normal use
  • HEPA barrier filter: Replace approximately every 12 months
  • Tar-Barrier prefilter: Replace every 3–6 months depending on smoke exposure

Carbon canisters are refillable, helping reduce long-term ownership costs.

For best results, run the unit continuously on a lower setting, increasing speed during active smoke events.
