The Airpura P700 is the large-space version of Airpura's most complete unit, built to take on germs, mold, and chemicals across bigger rooms and open floor plans. On top of a sealed True HEPA filter and a deep bed of activated carbon, it adds a germicidal UV-C lamp and the TitanClean™ photocatalytic oxidation stage, so it treats the biological contaminants and airborne chemicals that particle-only purifiers leave behind.
What the P700 adds over the P600 is a stronger motor: up to 635 CFM for larger, more open spaces, while staying quieter on low for continuous background cleaning. Choose the P700 when your space opens out past a single room, like a great room, an open-plan main level, or a whole floor, where its 635 CFM motor keeps the air moving and it still runs quieter on low. If you're filtering a bedroom or a single large room up to 2,000 sq ft, the P600 does the same job for less.
Not sure the P-series is your job? The P700 adds a UV-C and PCO germicidal stage on top of chemical and particle filtration, so it's the pick when germs, mold, or viruses are part of the problem. A titanium dioxide (TiO₂) coated reflector, activated by the UV lamp, creates hydroxyl radicals that break the molecular bonds of airborne chemicals and reduce them to simpler compounds. The angled reflector sits at a set distance from the lamp so the coated surface stays effective (US patent #29249549).
Germicidal UV-C Lamp
A 16 to 18 watt UV-C germicidal lamp sits in the center of the filter chamber, where it exposes airborne microorganisms to germicidal light that disrupts their DNA and their ability to reproduce. The True HEPA filter sits ahead of it, so the reflector surface stays cleaner and more effective.
Deep 2″ Activated Carbon Bed

Sealed True HEPA Filtration

Regular P700 (100% Coconut Shell)

Maintenance & Filter Life
The P700 has five components, each on its own schedule, so you only replace the one that's due:
- Prefilter: vacuum through the grille periodically; replace every 12 months
- Carbon filter: replace every 2 years
- HEPA filter: replace every 3 to 5 years, depending on use
- UV-C lamp: replace every 18 to 20 months
- TitanClean™ reflector: replace every 18 to 20 months
Running it continuously on low is the simplest way to keep air quality steady. It draws 40 watts on low and 120 watts on high, roughly a household light bulb. For best carbon performance, keep indoor humidity at 35% or less.

How is the P-series different from the C, V, I, or R series?
They're built for different jobs. The R700 is the everyday all-purpose unit; the I700 leads with True HEPA for allergies and particles; the V700 is tuned for wildfire smoke and VOCs; and the C700 carries a larger dedicated carbon bed for the heaviest chemical exposure. The P700 is the most complete of them: it adds the germicidal UV-C and TitanClean stage for germs and mold on top of chemical and particle filtration. Where do I get replacement filters?

Does the P700 produce ozone?
No. The P700 uses a germicidal UV-C lamp and photocatalytic oxidation, not an ozone-generating ionizer. It cleans air through filtration plus that germicidal stage, with no intentional ozone output, which is what you want in a unit made for sensitive households.
Does the P700 arrive assembled?
